Terms of Service

Applies to: Bulk Product Editor for BigCommerce.
Last updated: 2026-06-01

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bulk Product Editor app (the "App") for the BigCommerce App Marketplace. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. The App is operated by Clockwork Apps ("we", "us").

1. What the App does

The App is a dashboard tool for BigCommerce store owners that reads your product catalog and, on your instruction, performs bulk edits across product- and variant-level fields (title, description, brand, weight, dimensions, custom fields, tags, visibility, categories, variant price / sale price / cost / SKU / MPN / UPC / weight / inventory). Edits can be run immediately or scheduled, and can be reverted from the App's job history via a snapshot we capture before each run.

2. Subscription & billing

The App is a paid subscription, billed monthly via Stripe at $9.99 / month. New installations receive a 14-day free trial; the trial is managed by Stripe and converts automatically to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. After the trial, continued use of editing functionality requires an active subscription.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the App's billing settings or directly from Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds for unused portions of a billing period unless required by law.

3. Acceptable use

4. Your responsibility for changes

The App mutates your product catalog at your direction. You are solely responsible for the correctness of any bulk or scheduled edit you initiate. We strongly recommend:

5. No warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, or that any specific bulk operation or revert will succeed (for example, snapshot data may become unusable if the source product has been deleted from BigCommerce after the snapshot was captured).

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clockwork Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App — including, without limitation, any data loss or pricing errors resulting from bulk operations you initiated. Our total aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Third-party services

The App relies on BigCommerce's API, Stripe for billing, and AWS (EC2 / RDS / S3 / SES) for hosting. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of those services. We are not responsible for outages, bugs, or changes in third-party services that affect the App.

8. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for how the App handles data.

9. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your BigCommerce admin. Uninstall ends any active subscription at the end of the current billing period and stops scheduled jobs. We may suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
